Brad Rembold
CEO - Director

Mr. Rembold is the CEO of All Island Equity MIC. He has been the active day-to-day manager since 2017. As a licensed Mortgage Broker since 2007 he has extensive experience in all aspects of mortgage lending. Mr. Rembold graduated from Vancouver Island University in 2006 with a Bachelor of Business Administration majoring in Management and minoring in Finance. His work history includes: Account Executive with Accredited Home Lenders (2006 – 2008), mortgage administrator and sales with Coastal Community Credit Union (2008 – 2009), and working as an independent mortgage broker with Mortgage Architects followed by Sand Dollar Mortgages since 2009. Mr. Rembold’s primary focus is the preservation of investor capital, through stringent underwriting and active management of the loan portfolio.

Margaret O’Connor
COO - Director

Ms. O’Connor is the COO of All Island Equity MIC as well as President and CEO of Mid Island Mortgage and Savings (Qualicum) Ltd., an independent mortgage brokerage firm located in Qualicum Beach. She is an integral part of the MIC management team and oversees all aspects of the business. Ms. O’Connor obtained her bachelors degree from the University of Victoria in 2006 and in 2007 she successfully completed the UBC Sauder School Mortgage Broker licensing course. In 2009, she joined Kensington Realfund Mortgage Investment Corporation as co-manager and director of the mortgage fund. In 2020, Kensington Realfund Mortgage Investment Corporation was merged with AIE MIC and Ms. O’Connor joined the Board of Directors in 2020.

Shannon Scott, CPA
Accountant

Shannon Scott joined AIE MIC as Director of Accounting and Finance in September 2021.  Prior to joining, she had 13 years of experience in public practice accounting.  During that time, she gained extensive experience with auditing and tax, managing clients with diverse corporate portfolios, as well as municipal and first nation governments, not-for-profit and charitable entities, estates, trusts, and individuals’ income tax needs.

Mrs. Scott received her Chartered Professional Accountant designation in 2012. She also holds Bachelor of Arts majoring in economics from the University of Victoria and a Post Degree Diploma in accounting with honours from Malaspina University (now Vancouver Island University).

Tiffany Tsutsumi
Mortgage Administration

Tiffany is the lead administrator at All Island Equity MIC. She joined our team in April 2022. Tiffany has a keen eye for detail and a passion for organization. Tiffany has always had an interest in real estate and the mortgage lending process. In 2009 she successfully completed her mortgage broker licensing course through UBC Sauder school. After a few years working as a licensed broker, family life was calling, and she stepped away from the business to raise her two children. She now balances life with work and volunteering with girl guides and oceanside minor hockey.
